Godwin Borg – A retired civil servant with forty-three years of service, most of which were spent in procurement. Also pursued my passion for graphic design as a part-time profession for three decades. Throughout the years, I developed a deep appreciation for many forms of art, particularly photography where retirement provided me with the opportunity to explore this passion deeper. Armed with my son’s DSLR camera and guidance from my younger brother—a professional photographer—I quickly learned the basics of capturing moments and editing them.

This newfound hobby soon became a thrilling pursuit, producing hundreds of compelling shots, some of which earned accolades in various photo competitions, including Wiki loves Folklore and Wiki Loves Earth 2024 in Malta. While I enjoy capturing a wide range of subjects, street photography remains my favourite genre, providing an adrenaline rush with every shot. Photography has since become an integral part of my life, keeping me creatively fulfilled and physically active.
